1999年传播学国际学术研讨会于10月28～30日在上海外国语大学召开。会议主题为:传播学与21世纪。分主题有:①传播学领域的新发展与21世纪的总趋势;②国际传播与跨文化传播;③高科技与大众传播学;④媒体管理及产业化;⑤与中国传播学理论和实践相关选题。这次会议的论文共有30篇,可以概括出以下特点:
1999 International Conference on Communication Studies was held on October 28-30 at Shanghai International Studies University. The theme of the conference is: Communication Studies and the 21st Century.
