人工林林分密度直接影响到林分平均直径(取平均胸径)。在相同的立地条件下,林木平均营养面积和林分平均直径随着密度的增加而呈现递减的趋势。密度超过一定限度的林分,其平均直径最终将保持在一个相似的水平上。
Plantation stand density directly affects the average diameter of the stands (average diameter at breast height). Under the same site conditions, the mean nutrient area of forest trees and mean diameter of forest stand declining with the increase of density. Stands with densities above a certain limit will eventually maintain their average diameter at a similar level.
