Mary Anning (1799-1847) is an epoch-era fossil hunter (Figure 1). The fossils she and her family discovered include the first complete Ichthyosaur, Plesiosaur and Pterosaur in history. Her discoveries shocked the world and influenced paleontologists, including Charles Liell, the father of geology, whose book Geological Principles was indirectly influenced by Darwin’s beagle World classic classics “Origin of Species” creation. Because of her poor status as a British woman before the feminist movement, she did not have any social status. Therefore, although experts from all over the world find her digging fossils and asking for fossil origin information, she was denied access to science. Until after the death
