随着石油化学工业的发展,数量越来越多的设备需要用耐腐蚀材料制造。由于硬聚氯乙烯塑料具有良好的耐蚀性和一定的机械强度,加工成型方便,焊接性能好等优点。目前,已被广泛地应用在石油化工等工业部门中。1962年,化工部化工机械研究院研制成功的大型硝酸吸收塔2600×1500×20(直径×高×壁厚,毫米)已经受了长期的考验。衢州化工厂自1965年以来,先后设计制造的硝酸吸收塔、30～60米~3卧式贮罐、300米~3立式贮槽、75米~3球罐、3～8吨汽车用贮罐、直径4.7米的硫酸电除雾器等都比较成功地应用在生产中。上海化工厂、上海吴泾化工厂、杭州化学纤维厂等单位在硬聚乙烯塑料设备的制造应用方面也有较为成熟的经验。大量设备经受住了苛刻条件的长期考
