本文是对岭南大学翻译系主任及香港翻译学会会长陈德鸿教授的访谈,笔者与其就翻译教学及研究论述为主题,分三个部分进行了深入浅出的探讨:1.翻译教学与学生就业;2.香港的翻译与翻译史;3.学术研究范畴与取向。读者不仅可借由此文了解汉语世界中中国香港的翻译活动与发展,更可直接知悉陈教授的教学信念与研究热忱。此外,此访谈内容还可帮助翻译研究者对相关教学、研究议题与教学生涯有更多的了解。
This article is an interview with Prof. Chen Dehong, director of translation department of Lingnan University and president of Hong Kong Institute of Translation and Interpretation. The author has a discussion on translation teaching and research discourse in three parts: 1. Translation teaching and student employment; History of Translation and Translation in Hong Kong; 3. Scope and Orientation of Academic Research. The reader can not only understand the translation activities and development of Hong Kong, China in the Chinese world, but also can directly understand Professor Chen’s teaching conviction and research enthusiasm. In addition, the interviews will help translators understand more about teaching, research topics and teaching careers.
