Benjixin (Reporter Yang Chenming) A Nordic forestry and paper company came a long way to the mountainous areas along the South China Sea. From the planting of trees, it started to build a forestry-paper integration project. After 14 years of unremittingly deepening construction, it finally got to the conclusion. On June 16, 2016, Stora Enso held a production ceremony of a 450,000 ton high-grade packaging board machine at the site of its Tieshangang Industrial Park in Beihai, Guangxi. According to reports, the project total investment of 1.6 billion euros, is by far the largest single investment in the Nordic project in China, but also Stora Enso’s major investment in history.
