音乐教育是以审美为核心,作用于人的情感世界的实践活动。在素质教育的大背景下,音乐课的基本价值在于通过以聆听音乐、表现音乐和音乐创造活动为主的审美活动,使学生充分体验蕴涵于音乐音响形式中的美和丰富的情感,为音乐所表达的真善美境界所吸引、所陶醉,与之产生强烈的情感共鸣。人们对音乐的感知、理解与欣赏是通过一系列心理活动来完成的,而音乐的社会功能也主要是以潜移默化的方式通过欣赏者的心理活动得以发挥。
