Plant engineering and construction company Woodwind - Fischer and the Middle East’s largest PET resin manufacturer and the world’s largest integrated manufacturer of PET sheet Octal Petrochemical announced on December 10, 2013 that it has successfully completed the production of PET polycondensation unit for bottles and packaging applications. The two production lines are located at the client company headquarters in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, with a production capacity of 550,000 t / a. Based on the most advanced energy-saving and patented Melt-To-Resin (MTR) technology from Wood-Everett-Fiser, the plant enables Octal Petrochemical to produce high-quality PET
