毒麦是一种检疫性有毒杂草,籽实中含有毒麦碱,人畜吃了就会中毒。 1973年通过私自引种将毒麦传入我县,面积不断扩大。1974年普查仅在3个公社3个大队3个生产队零星发生,1975年普查已蔓延到7个公社18个大队48个生产队,面积1,866.9亩(集体耕地1,660亩、社员自留地206.9亩)。一般每亩在20穗以下,最高125穗。在品种上,“进口阿勃”1,833.4亩,占98.2％,“701”30亩,占1.6％;官村1号2.5亩,占0.2％。
