- Wandering at the Crossroads of Economic Development in China’s Internet Economy The new economy, driven by information technology and globalization, has continuously created a miracle on a global scale. As China’s network economy is aspiring to new economic miracles, Get rid of the old economy’s desire to falter. However, the drastic turmoil and adjustment of the NASDAQ and the heavy resistance in the development of the Chinese network have prompted us to reflect ourselves once again on the realities of the Chinese economy by the blizzard of the European wind and rain. Whether it be from the perspective of the world or from China, we must admit that the new economy is a flower growing from the soil of the old economy. It is still presently blossoming. It may have a very delicate flower, and may also produce huge fruits However, all this actually depends very much on whether the fertile soil of the old economy is fertile or not and the climate in which flowers grow is appropriate. We find that at present all the problems in the process of China’s network economic development can be found in the soil of the old economy. In our opinion, the effort under the net is more important than the effort on the net for the next phase of the development of the network economy in China. Some of the seeds of the new economy in China have sprouted in the soil of the old economy. We need to fertilize, weed and loosen them. There are still some seeds of new economy in China which are essentially American models after they have burned a great deal of domestic and foreign capital The young leaves have emerged under imitation, and if they are to continue to grow in China’s economy, we should cultivate them into the soil of China. Hovering at the crossroads of China’s network economic development, we must emphasize in particular that a new economy that has left the old economic soil can not thrive. Without a large-scale readjustment of the old economy, the new economy loses its fertile soil.
