Schubert is a great composer in the 19th century. His famous song “Impromptu” is world famous and is a masterpiece of romantic pianos. The song features a delicate and sincere lyrical style, full of elegant and sophisticated performance skills. This paper first analyzes the background and significance of Schubert’s romantic music and then discusses the emotional characteristics of Schubert’s improvisational romantic music.
