拉斯顿(Ruston)柴油机公司生产三种系列发动机,AP系列发动机功率范围为500～1400马力,RΚ系列发动机功率范围为1410～4200马力,AT系列发动机功率范围为1650～4950马力。其中AT系列发动机转速可到600转/分,而AP和RΚ系列发动机转速范围为600～1000转/分。本文论述RΚ系列发动机的设计宗旨及其发展。RΚ系列发动机的缸径为264毫米,行程为305毫米,6缸机直列布置,8、12和16缸机V形布置。有关该机的主要参数在许多论文中有所报道~[1、2、3],已为众知。RΚ系列发动机的特点是具有一个铸铁的曲轴箱和底座配以锻钢曲轴。燃烧室零件中具有一个铸铁缸盖和一个铸铁缸套,钢制进排气门,整体式铝活塞。RΚ系列发动机经历了30年来在发电、铁路牵引和船舶动力等许多应用场合中的运用考核,其耐久性和可靠性已得到充分证实。
Ruston Diesel Engine Company produces three series of engines, AP series engine power range of 500 ~ 1400 horsepower, RK series engine power range of 1410 ~ 4200 horsepower, AT series engine power range of 1650 ~ 4950 horsepower. One AT series engine speed to 600 rev / min, and AP and RK series engine speed range of 600 to 1000 rev / min. This article discusses the design purpose and development of RK series engine. The RK series engine has a bore of 264 mm and a stroke of 305 mm. The 6-cylinder engine is arranged inline and the 8, 12 and 16-cylinder V-engines are arranged. The main parameters of the aircraft have been reported in many papers ~ [1,2,3], which is well known. RK series engine features a cast iron crankcase and base with a forged steel crankshaft. The combustion chamber features a cast iron cylinder head and a cast iron cylinder liner, steel intake and exhaust valve, integral aluminum piston. The RK series engine has undergone 30 years of application assessment in many applications such as power generation, railway traction and marine propulsion, and its durability and reliability have been fully confirmed.
