外交家章含之于1946年夏入震旦女子文理学院附中就读初一,1949年5月在战乱中被迫停学。虽则“震旦”作为一系列学校的校名在1952年院系调整之后,同“圣约翰”“沪江”“东吴”一起成为了历史名词,然而这个名字却永久地留在了当年这些震旦学子的心底,作为震旦附中和震旦女附中继承者的上海市向明中学依然立于顶尖高中之列。对于母校,章含之回忆道:“虽然在震旦女附中的时间总共不到三年,但在我的少年时代留下的记忆却是不可磨灭的。记得我们有一位很好的语文老师,
