OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of Gal-3, Bcl-2 and laminin receptor (LR) in pancreatic cancer, and to explore their relationship with the occurrence, development and metastasis of pancreatic cancer and the relationship between Gal-3 and Bcl- In pancreatic cancer and its significance. Methods: The expression of Gal-3, Bcl-2, LR and other proteins in pancreatic cancer tissues was detected by immunohistochemical SP method and compared with the expression of 3 in benign pancreatic tissues. 2 test for statistical analysis of the results. Results: (1) The positive rates of Gal-3, Bcl-2 and LR were 81% (55/68), 48.5% (33/68) and 55.4% (37/68) respectively in 68 cases of pancreatic cancer. 68). In 30 cases of benign pancreatic lesions, Gal-3 was found to be either weak or weakly expressed, while LR and Bcl-2 were positive or strongly positive, with rates of 40% (12/30) and 76.7% (23/30), respectively 83.3% (25/30). The expression of Gal-3 was significantly lower than that of pancreatic carcinoma (P <0.01), while the expression of Bcl-2 and LR was significantly increased (P <0.01, P <0.05 ). (2) The positive expression of 3 had nothing to do with the differentiation of cancer tissue. The expression of Gal-3 in metastasis was significantly increased (P <0.05). The expression of Gal-3 increased with tumor progression, and the expression of Bcl-2 and LR decreased. Conclusion: Gal-3 may be related to the development and metastasis of pancreatic cancer, while Bcl-2 and LR may be important factors in maintaining normal cell activity.
