The authors evaluated the results of a single daily oral bambutero (BTL) treatment of asthma using a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover approach. Thirty patients with nocturnal asthma exacerbations entered the study. The patients were randomized to the following treatment groups: oral BTL 20 mg and placebo at 10 PM at 7 AM; placebo at 7 AM and oral BTL 20 mgZ at 10 PM orally morning 7 am and late 10 pm
