目前为我国机械工程界所接受的按失效形式的封闭功率曲线(即所谓帐篷曲线)设计链速V≥0.6米/秒的滚子链传动的方法,在设计步骤上尚存在试算过程。试算过程常发生在四处:一处在假设链速V和选取小链轮齿数z_1这一步骤中;一处在假设链条节距p,按帐篷曲线决定链条规格这一步骤中;一处在验算小链轮轴孔直径d_k应小于或等于其最大值d_(kmax)这一步骤中;一处在求大链轮齿数z_2(须z_2≤120)这一步骤中。这四处试算可能导致设计者在设计计算中多次返工。返工时都须改设参数,重新计算。
