Since the liberation of Beijing suburbs to 1953, the output of cotton has been relatively high. For example, in 1952 and 1953, the town’s grandchildren’s temple in Haidian was above 250 kilos in average. North China Institute of Agricultural Sciences average yield per mu 500 kg or so. Since 1954, the general output has tended to decline. This is mainly due to prolonged rainy days and excessive rainfall during flowering, resulting in serious shedding and unwinding. However, there are still some high-yielding crops, which are not reduced much in this climate-friendly year. For example, in 1956, the average production of the Agricultural Society of Dazhongsi Township was estimated to be 150 kg, while that of the Eighth Production Team and the Youth Group was still 200 Kg or more. This shows that it is possible to overcome the adverse weather conditions and maintain stable cotton production. To this end, we conducted several times
