微博谣言的传播状况与微博自身特性、微博受众的心理因素、批判能力及社会环境都有着密切关系。在微博谣言的传播与覆灭中,微博能够使谣言和辟谣信息迅速扩散,呈现出强大的微博力;而传统媒体在辟谣时发挥的作用体现了它的公信力,但有时也因其公信力而成为谣言进一步扩散的助推器。面对谣言,各类媒体都应有所担当。微博运营商应制定完善的身份审查制度,微博用户自身要提升媒介素养,传统媒体应充分发挥舆论引导作用。
