2010年4月22日,茂名市第一中学举办了首届“十大文明礼仪之星”评选,评出了陈广照、文维富、李俊杰、曹露露、何星等十位文明礼仪之星,并现场为这十位同学进行了颁奖。学校的相关领导表示,正在上海举行的世界博览会提供了一个向世界展示中国人文明礼仪的大舞台,而即将于今年年底在广州举办的2010年亚运会,更是另一重大国际盛事。学校希望通过此次评选活动,提高学生讲文明、懂礼仪的自觉性和主动性,培养学生良好的仪容仪表与行为习惯。为学生树立可亲、可信、可敬、可学的榜样。正如其中的一位获奖同学何星所言,文明礼仪的力量可以很强大,在日常生活的一些罅隙间体现得淋漓尽致。本刊希望通过特写其中几位文明礼仪之星的事迹,让校园间吹起一股清新的文明礼仪之风,让每一位中学生都加入到尽己之力在身边传递文明与礼仪的队伍中来。
