国务院总理温家宝日前主持召开国务院常务会议,研究实施振兴东北等老工业基地战略问题,提出了振兴东北等老工业基地的指导思想、原则、主要任务及政策措施。会议指出,支持加快东北等老工业基地调整改造,是党的十六大提出的一项重大战略决策。目前,实施这项战略条件具备、时机成熟。要抓住机遇,积极推进东北等老工业基地的振兴,努力将东北等老工业基地调整、改造、发展成为结构合理、功能完善、特色明显、竞争力强的新型产业基地,逐步成为国民经济新的重要增长区域。
Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council recently chaired a State Council executive meeting to study and implement the strategy of rejuvenating the old industrial bases such as the Northeast and put forward the guiding ideology, principles, major tasks and policies and measures for rejuvenating the northeast old industrial bases. The meeting pointed out: Supporting and accelerating the readjustment and transformation of the old industrial bases in the northeast region is a major strategic decision put forward by the 16th CPC National Congress. At present, the implementation of this strategic conditions, the time is ripe. We should seize the opportunity and actively promote the rejuvenation of old industrial bases such as the Northeast. We will make every effort to adjust, transform and develop the northeast industrial base into a new industrial base with reasonable structure, perfect functions, clear features and strong competitiveness, and gradually become a new national economy Important growth area.
