弘扬我国民族文化,发扬贯彻现代设计的民族精神需要肯定并吸取我国民间工艺的精华。不管是审美理念、工艺方法,还是表达现实的方式和技巧,我国民间工艺都是现代设计应用借鉴的宝库。民间工艺应用在现代设计中重点要了解民间工艺艺术,使其在成全完善现代设计的过程中得到发扬和继承。民间工艺代表的民族本土文化和现代设计体系的联系,现代设计中应用民间工艺是必要的途径。
