一、前言:语言地理分布发展论语言地图的绘制是语言地理学的主要工作之一。不过,这不是说一定要绘制地图才算是语言地理学研究,只能说地图绘制是呈现语言地理学研究成果的最好手段;也不是说语言地图画出来了,语言地理学的研究就算大功告成了。语言地理学的研究,最重要的工作是地图绘制之后,要对语言或方言的分布状态进行所以然的解释,说明语言为什么会这么分布,追究语言或方言所以如此分布的历史过程。
I. Preface: The Development of Language and Geography Distribution Drawing language map is one of the major tasks of language geography. However, this does not mean that we must be able to draw a map as a linguistic-geography study. We can only say that mapping is the best means of presenting the results of linguistic-geography research. Nor does it mean that linguistic maps have been drawn. Even if the study of linguistic geography is accomplished . The most important work of the study of linguistic geography is to explain the distribution of language or dialect after the mapping and explain why the language is so distributed and to follow the historical process of the distribution of language or dialect.
