毛泽东同志在讲到中国封建社会长期性问题时,作了如下的科学论断:『中国虽然是一个伟大的民族国家,虽然是一个地广人众,历史悠久而又富于革命传统和优秀遗产的国家;可是,中国自从脱离奴奴制度进到封建制度以后,其经济、政治、文化的发展,就长期地陷在发展迟缓的状态中。这个封建制度,自周秦以来一直延续了三千年左右。』(『中国革命与中国共产党』,见『毛浑东选集』第二卷,五九三页——五九四页)
Comrade Mao Tse-tung made the following scientific statement when it comes to the long-term issue of feudal society in China: “Although China is a great nation-state, it is a country with a vast population, a long history, rich revolutionary traditions and excellent legacy However, since its entry into feudalism from the slave-slave system, China’s economic, political and cultural development have been stuck in a state of sluggish development for a long time. This feudal system has lasted for about three thousand years since Zhou Qin.
