在当代国际政治经济格局发生深刻变化的背景下,国际贸易格局已逐步向区域化、集团化方向演变。而西太平洋地区(下称西太地区)经贸合作的进展及合作形式的选择,对于西太经济发展和我国对外贸易都具有极大影响。 一、当代区域经济集团格局及发展趋势 《美加自由贸易协定》自1989年起生效使美国和加拿大两国经济相互依存关系不断加深,双边贸易额也从1987—88年的1420亿美元增至1989—90年的1710亿美元。1992年美、加、墨签署了北美自由贸易协议,该协议将于1994年实施。而南美的阿根廷、巴西、智利三国也将于两年内建立自由贸易区。另外,美国还明确提出要建立全美洲自由贸易区,拉丁美洲其他各
Against the background of profound changes in the current international political and economic pattern, the pattern of international trade has gradually evolved toward regionalization and collectivization. Pattern and Development Trend of Contemporary Regional Economic Groups The entry into force of the “U.S.-Canada Free Trade Agreement” in 1989 has deepened the economic interdependence between the United States and Canada and increased the bilateral trade volume from 142 billion U.S. dollars in 1987-88 to 1989 - 171 billion US dollars in 90 years.
