A device that can perform the tensile test of the sapphire whisker microstructure at 1500 ℃ is introduced. The maximum load of the instrument is 500 grams with a constant loading rate of 100 mg / minute. The main components of the instrument are: loading mechanism, force-measuring device with mechanical sensor and upper bayonet, lower bayonet lifting mechanism with magnetic hook, and heating device. Loading mechanism (see Figure 1) consists of the following parts: induction motor 1 (ДВА-у3), speed ratio of 1: 350 single-line worm reducer 2, and the nut 3-screw 4 measured micro-pieces. The rotation of the fretting screw causes the quartz wedge 5 to move along the ground glass plate 6 on the spherical seat. When the quartz wedge moves for this purpose, the hanging frame 7 suspended above it rises (or descends) in a specific direction. The mechanical sensing element 8 and the movable load beam 9 are tightly fixed on the hanging frame.
