In recent years, the integration of reading and writing has been increasingly recognized and promoted by the academic community, which has a direct impact on the classroom teaching of reading and writing in high school English. Reading is input and writing is output. Many teachers are digging the combination of “reading” and “writing” in teaching materials to build a bridge between the two and purposefully combine reading teaching with writing teaching. However, in actual teaching, how to read, write, and combine ideas, arrange and operate according to the characteristics of texts is not that every teacher can have good thinking and operation.
