介绍可持续发展的概念及基本思想，综述环境协调性材料及产品的概念、由来及研究内容，指出环境意识材料学是实现可持续发展的重要科学技术力量。加强环境协调性材料及产品的研究开发，促进耗竭性资源的再生循环利用，是实现人口、经济、社会、环境、资源相互协调的可持续发展的必要条件，建议将环境材料的开发研究列入中国可持续发展的优先资助和发展领域。
Introduce the concept and basic idea of sustainable development, summarize the concept, origin and content of environmental coordination materials and products, and point out that environmental awareness material science is an important scientific and technological force to achieve sustainable development. Strengthening the research and development of environment-friendly materials and products and promoting the recycling of depleted resources are necessary conditions for the sustainable development of population, economy, society, environment and resources. It is suggested that the development of environmental materials should be included in Priority areas for funding and development for sustainable development in China.
