意大利画家达·芬奇做学徒的时候,才华深藏未露。当时,他的老师是个很有名望的画家,年老多病,作画时常感到力不从心。一天,他要达·芬奇替他画一幅未完的作品。年轻的达·芬奇只是一个学徒,他十分崇敬老师的为人和作品,根本不敢接受老师的任务。他缺乏自信,更害怕把老师的作品毁了。可是,这位老画家不管达·芬奇怎么说,一定要让他画。
