The development of private capitalism is an important part of Mao Zedong’s new democratic economic thinking and the earliest exploration and practice of the non-state-owned economy by the Chinese Communist Party. Mao Zedong’s thought of non-public ownership economy in the early days of the founding of New China included the non-public ownership economy being an important part of the new-democratic economy, utilizing and restricting the development of the non-public ownership economy and finally realizing the socialist public ownership through transformation.
