The “National Conference on the Application of the First Digital Model and Electronic Computer in Mineral Processing”, which was presided over by the Metallurgical Academic Committee of China Metallurgical Society, was held in Beijing from June 23 to 29, 1984. 217 delegates from more than 150 units nationwide attended the event.
