中国金属学会于1979年12月5日至11日,在湖南省湘潭市召开了冶金安全学术会议。来自21个省、市、自治区的178名代表出席,国家劳动总局,卫生、煤炭、二机、化工、建材等部所属有关单位,以及中国煤炭安全专业学术委员会的代表也应邀到会。会议共收到论文213篇,宣读了141篇。这些论文基本上反映了近几年来冶金安全与工业卫生专业所取得的科研成就。冶金工业部安全技术局负责人吕炎同志就冶金系统安全生产方面的成绩、问题和1980年工作设想作了报告。
China Metallurgical Society held a conference on metallurgical safety in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province from December 5 to 11, 1979. 178 representatives from 21 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions attended the meeting. Representatives from the State Administration of Labor, Ministry of Health, China Coal and Chemical Industry, Ministry of Chemical Industry and Building Materials, as well as representatives from the Academic Committee for China Coal Safety, were also invited to attend the meeting. A total of 213 papers were received and 141 were read. These papers basically reflect the scientific achievements made in metallurgical safety and industrial hygiene in recent years. Comrade Lu Yan, head of the Security Technology Bureau of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, made a report on the achievements and problems in the safe production of metallurgical systems and the working plan for 1980.
