效果历史观是伽达默尔诠释学理论体系的重要组成部分和突出特征1它指明了理解所必须依据的特定环境及由此所产生的不同理解方式和不同的理解效果,并强调了寻求深层次视域融合方式的必要性及其途径。对效果历史观的进一步诠释则要求将效果历史观念的多样性和其内在规律性结合起来,必须将事实性判断以求真与价值性判断以求善两者紧密结合起来,以探求历史的真谛。效果历史观要求中西史学比较研究,必须同中西现实的社会历史发展进程和重大而具体的历史问题产生深度关联,以发挥深度研究的效用,避免比较中的形式主义、相对主义和实用主义问题。研究诠释学的效果历史观对于探索现代中西比较史学研究的发展趋向有重要意义。
