金钱槭(Dipteronia sinensis Oliv)是我国三级保护植物。属槭科落叶乔木,高10～15米。叶对生,单数羽状复叶。翅果长2.5厘米,种子周围具圆翅,嫩时红色,成熟后黄色,如同一串串小铜钱,细风吹动飒飒作响,具有一种奇特的观尝风格。主要分布于河南、陕西、甘肃南部、湖北西部及四川、贵州等地,零星生长于海拔1000～2000米的山林中,己处于濒危状态。为挽救这一稀有植物,1979和1983年,我们分别进行了引种幼苗及硬枝扦插繁殖试验。从我省宁西林区引种的21株高1～2米的幼苗定植于我园圃地,成活率达75％,年高生长量为10～20厘米,尚未发现病虫及冻害。1983年10月28日,我们用硬枝扦插金钱槭插穗100支,1984年3月6日插穗萌芽。生长65天后平均苗高13厘米,分枝2～4个,平均 Dipteronia sinensis Oliv is a tertiary protection plant in China.
