小学数学探究式学习是学生从数学科学领域或现实生活中的问题或任务出发,创设一种类似于学术研究的情境,通过学生自主、独立地发现问题,通过研究、操作、调查、收集与处理信息、表达与交流等探索活动,获取知识、技能、情感与态度的发展,特别是探索精神和创新能力的发展的学习方式和学习过程。小学数学探究式学习以问题性、过程性和开放性为主要特征,数学的本质是发现的,是主观建构,所以,小学数学以其特有的课堂性质更适宜开展探究学习。
