工作面刮板输送机是保证实现采煤机械化必不可少的重要设备之一。目前,我国生产的工作面刮板输送机主要分单链、中双链和边双链三种,共有几十个品种,并各有其特点。中双链和单链刮板输送机的优点是克服了双边链受力不均等问题,同时还减少了断链事故。采煤机械化运输所用的刮板输送机,其输送量45～1000吨/小时,机身长度有120、150、200米几种,中部槽宽度520～764毫米,电动机功率11～2×250(315)千瓦,圆环链的规格有14×50毫米、18×64毫米、22×86毫米、26×86毫米、30×92毫米几种。
