党的十四次代表大会明确提出,我国经济体制改革的目标是建立社会主义市场经济体制,这是对社会主义经济理论的重大突破和发展,是对我们正在建设的有中国特色社会主义经济模式的集中概括。市场经济不是完全由市场调节的自由经济而是法制经济,因为市场经济对法制有一种内在的依赖。为了保证社会主义市场经济的建立和发展,我国宪法不仅确立了市场经济的法律地位,而且还颁布了《产品质量法》、《反不正当竞争法》、《公司法》等,还有一些法律和法规正在酝酿之中。这些事实说明,社会主义市场经济一刻也离不开法制建设。
