在古希腊有一位著名的学者,名字叫阿基米德.他对早期力学进行了广泛深入的研究,取得了一些优秀的成果.在《浮体论》这本书中,阿基米德写道:“物体浸在水中所失去的重量(重量——以前对物体所受重力大小的一种说法),等于它所排开的水的重量”.这就是著名的阿基米德原理.
In ancient Greece, there was a famous scholar named Archimedes. He studied extensively and deeply in early mechanics and achieved some outstanding results. In the book “Floating Body”, Archimedes wrote : “The weight lost when an object is immersed in water (weight - a previous statement of the amount of gravity the object is subjected to) is equal to the weight of the water it displaces.” This is the famous Archimedean principle.
