2001年起,国务院妇女儿童工作委员会办公室与联合国儿童基金会合作在无锡开展了为期五年的保护流动儿童项目,探索解决流动儿童问题的新思路。该项目的开展是一个良好的开始。相信今后会有更多背井离乡,与外出打工的父母一同生活在城市中的流动儿童能够拥有与当地儿童一样的平等发展空间。
Since 2001, the Office of Women and Children Working Committee under the State Council has worked with UNICEF to launch a five-year program to protect migrant children in Wuxi and explore new solutions to the problem of migrant children. The project is a good start. I believe there will be more to leave hometown in the future. Migrant children living in urban areas with migrant workers can enjoy the same level of development as local children.
