Woods from Val d’Aosta(Northern Italy)peat-bogs and moraines.The identification of Holocenewoods from Val d’Aosta(Northern Italy)peat-bogs and moraines has provided informations about thedistribution of several tree species at an altitude comprised between m 1800 and 2500 asl.In particular Pinuscembra is extremely abundant at the upper limit of the arboreal vegetation.
