据《洪江日报》报道,2008年“五一”节之前,洪江市一家建筑企业通过媒体发布消息,5月上旬将安排时间免费为农民工检查职业病,但仅有7名农民工前去接受体检。对此,有关负责人分析认为,农民工对职业病的危害性认识不足,自身保护、维权意识薄弱是此次活动冷遇的主要原因。笔者对此不敢苟同。
