该课题系上海市科委下达课题。主要研究光线在变折射率介质中的传播规律及进行象差理论分析计算。该项目由上海光学仪器研究所设计研制成功,并于1989年12月通过市级鉴定。梯度折射率材料是一种在其内部折射率可以连续地、有规划地变化的崭新的光学材料,它除通过曲率改变光程外,还可通过内部折射率的变化达到改变光程的目的,为光学设计者提供了一个新的自由度。在光纤通信、激光技术和医用光学等方面有广阔的应用前景。
