统计部门是政府重要职能部门,肩负着为党政领导决策提供依据的重任,肩负着为全社会提供信息、咨询服务的重任,一举一动都关系着人民的生活,特殊的岗位要求统计人员树立良好的形象。培养良好的品德,养成过硬的作风,要求统计人员具备较高层次的道德水准。《中共中央关于社会主义精神文明建设指导方针的决议》也明确指出:“在我们社会的各行各业、都要加强职业道德建设”。因此,提高统计人员的道德修养、加强统计干部的职业道德建设尤为重要,需要在以下几方面下功夫。
The statistical department is an important functional department of the government and shoulders the important task of providing decision-making basis for party and government leaders. It shoulders the responsibility of providing information and consulting services to the whole society. Every move is related to people’s livelihood. The special positions require statisticians to establish well image of. Cultivate good character and develop excellent style, require statisticians to have a higher level of moral standards. The Resolution of the CPC Central Committee and the Guidelines on the Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization also clearly states: “In all walks of life in our society we must strengthen the building of professional ethics.” Therefore, it is particularly important to improve the moral cultivation of statisticians and to strengthen the professional ethics of statisticians, which requires efforts in the following aspects.
