1987年6月,联合国在奥地利首都维也纳召开了部长级禁毒国际会议,有138个国家的3000多名代表参加。这次会议通过了禁毒活动的《综合性多学科纲要》,向各国政府和组织提出了在今后的禁毒工作中开展综合治理的建议。6月26日大会结束时,与会代表一致通过决议,将每年的6月26日定为国际禁毒日,以引起世界各国对毒品问题的重视,号召全世界人民共同来解决毒品问题。
In June 1987, the United Nations convened the ministerial international conference on drug control in Vienna, the capital of Austria, with over 3,000 delegates from 138 countries. The meeting adopted the “Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Outline” of the anti-drug campaign and proposed to all governments and organizations proposals for comprehensive governance in the future anti-drug work. At the conclusion of the General Assembly on June 26, all the delegates unanimously passed a resolution setting June 26 each year as the International Day against Drug Abuse to attract the world’s attention to the drug issue and call on people of the world to work together to solve the drug problem.
