Sports games in the mentally retarded children’s physical education have a broad use of the city. By analyzing the characteristics and functions of the game, the author explores the application of sports games in physical education for mentally disabled children, and provides some theoretical basis for the physical education teachers in the special education schools to use sports games for teaching and physical education reform.
