奉命履新1973年7月,总政李德生主任、田维新副主任找我到三座门军委办公地谈话,对我说:“中央、军委决定,你不回成都,让你到总后勤部去任政委。有什么意见没有?”在此之前,我曾听说总后被林彪及邱会作一伙搞成了烂摊子,问题很复杂,遗留的问题很多,派性很严重。当时我想,烂摊子也有好处,可以锻炼人、考验人,可以从中学到很多东西,提高工作能力,增加工作经验。
