位于漳平市象湖镇灶头村东北4公里的奇和洞遗址,是一处旧石器时代晚期向新石器时代早期过渡的史前洞穴遗址,被评为2011年全国十大考古发现。该遗址与台湾史前文化具有关联性,对研究海峡两岸史前人类迁徙交流,尤其对研究台湾史前文化的源头具有重要意义。2013年3月被列入国家第七批全国重点文物保护单位,有专家因此作出了“北有山顶洞人,南有奇和洞人”的论断。自奇和洞遗址发掘以来,省、龙岩市及漳平市对此高度重视,目前已完成该遗址的保护和抢险加固
Qiaowu Cave Site, located 4 km northeast of Zao Tau Village, Xiang Hu Town, Zhangping City, is a prehistoric cave site transition from the late Paleolithic to Neolithic and was named one of the Top 10 Archaeological Discoveries in 2011 in China. The site is associated with the prehistoric culture of Taiwan and is of great significance in studying the migration and exchange of prehistoric human beings across the Taiwan Strait, especially for studying the origins of Taiwan’s prehistoric culture. In March 2013, it was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units in the country. Some experts made the conclusion that “there are cave people in the north and wonders and cave people in the south”. Since the excavation of Qijiahe Cave Site, Longyan City and Zhangping City have attached great importance to this site and have now completed the protection and rescue and reinforcement of the site
