H.264/AVC在帧间运动估计/补偿编码过程中,即使对一些背景变化不大的自然图像序列,亦采用包括SKIP/DIRECT在内的多种模式进行率失真优化,使得计算复杂度增加很多。针对这一问题,本文基于自然图像序列所表现出的时域与空域相关性,提出了一种快速的SKIP/DIRECT模式预判算法,来减少计算的复杂性。实验结果表明,该算法对于背景变化不大,特别是头肩图像序列,有着较好的效果,可节省编码时间30%以上。
H.264 / AVC In the inter-frame motion estimation / compensation coding process, even for some natural image sequences with little background change, the rate distortion optimization is also implemented in various modes including SKIP / DIRECT, which increases the computational complexity a lot of. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a fast SKIP / DIRECT predictive algorithm to reduce the computational complexity based on the temporal and spatial dependencies of the natural image sequences. Experimental results show that the algorithm has little effect on the background change, especially on the head and shoulders image sequence, which can save more than 30% coding time.
