在冻结法凿井中,准确掌握冻结壁的形成状况、正确确定井筒开挖时间和选择合理的施工方案,可加快建井速度、保证施工质量、提高经济效益。为此必须对冻结过程中的冻结壁形成实况进行有效而可靠的检测。为此目的,北京煤炭科学研究院建井所和安徽省煤研所、淮南煤指科研所、东北工学院、安徽省煤炭工业公司特凿一处共同研制了DSC-1型冻结壁声波检测仪。该仪器已通过了技术鉴定,并确定了小批量生产。
