The control valve is chosen to be reasonable, not only through the required flow but also the pressure drop. And what is “appropriate” and how does the pressure drop of the valve relate to the ability of the system and valve control? This article will discuss the pressure drop of the valve and the relationship between various valves and systems. The flow rate of the control valve can be obtained as the product of the pressure drop when the fluid passes through the valve and the product of the flow coefficient C_v, which is a function of the size and structure of the valve.
