中国在1988年陷入了经济危机,并成为1989年更深的政治和社会危机的先导。这场经济危机用一个简单的词来概括就是:通货膨胀。日益严重的通货膨胀由于在这一年中期盲目地企图进行价格改革而加剧了。到1988年9月,中央领导人中对通货膨胀的忧虑由于当年农业的歉收更加深了。
China plunged into an economic crisis in 1988 and became a precursor to a deeper political and social crisis in 1989. The economic crisis is summed up in a simple word: inflation. The worsening inflation was aggravated by the blind attempt at price reform in the middle of the year. By September 1988, the central leadership’s concern over inflation was deepened by the poor harvest of agriculture that year.
